My dad says all females are crazy and you've got...
I’m not sure what my crazy is but I suspect it’s subtle and immersed in every thing I think and do- which is probably bad news, unless you like getting to know the kind of weird that’ll sneak up on you, but at least I can promise I’m not a candidate to be committed.

Anonymous on the internet:
I remembered reading the first post last night, feeling upset, wondering if my dad was ever going to get cancer, hoping whoever-it-was was okay, but ultimately responding nothing and continuing to scroll through the page. I found the second post today. It makes me really really really (really really) happy to know that someone else spoke up, and I’m sorry I didn’t, but I’m glad...

Sunday is a good day to be off.
It ends up calm and warm more often than others.

My dad has the tendency to notice
guys who he claims are ‘checking me out bigtime’ but not tell me about them until after we’ve left a place. Which could be totally okay, except that it makes me feel utterly oblivious. We stopped for coffee with my brother on the way home from school, and only once we got back in the car did my dad bring it up: “you must have noticed that guy outside”. “Why? I...

The Beauty of Belief: Elemental →
philosofly: I once heard of a man who linked all the women he has loved to different kinds of food.  This man was a chef; when he cooked, he would think of the people he had loved, and channeled those memories into his cooking. This always struck me, because when I look back at the women I have loved, the most evocative image that comes to mind are the elements.  As I think about them, each...

Jamie Drew: The Infinite Spider Hole →
jamiedrew: I’m staying with a friend, Adam, right now, and his house is full of stuff. We have this unspoken agreement whereby he goes out to work, and then he comes home later that day to a bunch of stuff on the front lawn and a madman in a dressing gown chucking it out there while explaining  at the top of his voice: “I KEPT TRIPPING OVER THIS STUFF.”  “That’s fantastic,” he marvels. “I’ve...

Photos for the next thousand years
by which I mean for the next ten minutes, and that because I’ve gotten so lazy and behind with this that I’m going to dump them here now before they feel irrelevant again like all the last batches do, and I’m not sorry at all because this is my remembering-place and these are beautiful and I hope you like them a little. But that is coming-up now; be ‘ware.

Similar recaps of the same event to two separate...
Me: I forgot that I'd drawn more on my sheets last weekend until I found a new pattern of ink on my elbow just now. Good job. A whole day wearing vandalism karma.
Brendan: Hahaha. Why were you drawing on your sheets?
Andrew: That's what you GET.

Home from school for my sister's birthday this...
In the two weeks gone by since I was last here, the hall spider moved in to the space by my ear. When I lie down in bed I find he’s made a home- from the wall there’s a web to the edge of my pillow. And he whispers me stories As I fall asleep, and he weaves silver lullabies sweet secrets to keep, and the sun comes up just enough for me to see as he feasts on the leftover wisps of my dreams.
